This year, I decided to make another iteration of my Star Ornament. 

Growing up, my family would hang parols (aka: traditional star lanterns) on our doors and windows. In the Philippines, the parol symbolizes the star that guided the three kings to the birthplace of Jesus.

In the neighborhood where I grew up, these lanterns lit up the streets - hanging from trees and houses along our road. It always felt magical driving through them at night, as if the whole world was anticipating the hope and promise of Christmas.

 I created this ornament because it reminds me of home and because it points us to Jesus, the true Light of the world.

Every ornament is hung with a velvet ribbon and comes wrapped with a unique silk bag and is ready to be gifted to a loved one or to yourself! It is beautifully and wonderfully made.
